I really enjoyed this book--very interesting story throughout and true-to-life characters. I could relate to the small-town atmosphere and the medical setting. Can't wait for the sequel! C.H.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I was caught up in the story from the beginning and the characters quickly became like friends . I was sad when I reached the last page. Hoping for another one......
Excellent book. Great srory and character description I feel like I really know each character. Enough suspense to keep it interesting but won't keep you awake at night. Can't wait for the sequel.
Intense....suspenseful....packed full of detail.....'took me a week to read....nothing much else got done during that time....'had empathy for the characters and their plight....true to life in many ways....cliff hanging ending ....all I can say is....there had better be a sequel .... !!!
I read the book pretty much straight through on vacation in FL. The author's development of her characters is outstanding; I felt I knew them almost immediately. The suspense of wondering what's going to happen next kept me reading, while her colorful writing style made the mystery come alive.
April Joy Spring did an amazing job writing her first book. It was such a delight to read a good novel without foul language and explicit sex. The story takes place in a small Texas town and very much reminds me of my home town. The theme plots good against evil and has a Christian slant. Spring did an excellent job of painting mental pictures of the places and characters with her colorful and descriptive writing style. This book is worth your time and money. Do not overlook it.
